Body-Workers' Assembly
is a nomadic open space that hosts
series of body-work / therapeutic modality sessions in an interdisciplinary
and exploratory atmosphere.

We are interested in
how the knowledge of the artist/performer is able to open up transformational spaces for self-reproduction and
how different artistic practices are informed by the caring of relations with ourselves and others.

BWA is initiated by and for people of the Dance Department of Uniarts, Stockholm, but wants to be accessible for everybody who ends up here.
So welcome everybody who is open for embodied practices: body-mind techniques, therapeutic/healing practices, somatic work, movement, dance, care-taking, work based on social or emotional support and inter-subjective situations, community work
and so on.

How to participate and offer non-invasive support to the natural regenerative properties of our bodies.

Think of it as “get out of the way” body work.
A mutual exchange of care giving and receiving
by giving.

Based on ideas of
Cranial Sacral Therapy and Ilan Lev body work.
Default Melting with the Earth
An ultimate chance to release all that is unrelevant
- while nurturing a ................... intimacy between the many ways of your body and the ground, the earth, the base.

An observational practice of your micro and macro realities. This means looking at your inner body (anatomy) and the outer bodies (space, cosmos, universe).

We will work with maps and calendars.

The moon moves in cycles, giving silent light that softens the edges
and borders between.
The ground is breathing.
In the realms of creative somatic approach towards movement, body and imagination we let the moon inspire this shared time and space.
